We exist to grow our businesses together. Members meet with enthusiasm leading to evangelical cross-promotional efforts. Ethical and professional business attitudes are mandatory. It is imperative to cause people to want to work with this group and these members. The group format allows for a community reputation to be built for all members.

This group openly accepts the opportunity to learn from and about each other. Goals and obligations are collective and mutual. The individual commitment is to make each member’s time investment genuinely worthwhile, with the greatest possible return and value for everyone. We are open to new information, methods and relationships to increase our collectible sales, reaching more effective success than any of us could achieve acting alone.

This is a focused effort of Discovery Bay Chamber of Commerce. Focused and measurable results are expected and required here. You are THE EXCLUSIVE member in your type of business. Exclusivity has its cost. It is best for the other members that you to be the best you can be. Members “earn” a place in this group while having a real voice in the destiny of other potential and current members, as they apply and join.

Every active part of membership is designed to be collaborative and joint. We are sharing and want to do that because it works for us. Helping each other succeed brings us to prefer being involved together. Each of us has a passion. The function of this group is to tap into that while joining other members in a most powerful and effective way available.

Interaction is always about listening and getting better. We all have room to grow. If all that you do is perfect, you don’t need to be here. For all of the rest of us, we want to grow into healthier, more productive businesses. If the economy is a problem for you, it is made so much worse when we do not work together. It is quite simply true that we have less success and power when we work alone. Associates are useful, yes, even if it means compromising now and then.

Part of this forum is designed to allow questions and learning, pointing out when it works well and when not so well. Consultative efforts are intended to serve the membership. Prepare to make that happen. There are no excuses for dwelling on what you cannot do. You will focus on suggestions for what you can do to make it better. You will contribute, and be rewarded. There is plenty of help, just as there is always plenty of room for improvement.

Meetings and functional planning are provided by facilitators, a team of revolving leadership, and the whole group. Each member will participate in meeting “leadership” as one of a team of facilitators. Decisions are made solely by a majority of members. The function of facilitation is to help organize and share information and the flow of meetings and members interaction. WE decide our fate, not just facilitators, and always together. Attend meetings, share positive energy and vote when asked.
