Michael Callahan
Director
Michael Callahan, his wife Angel, and three children relocated to Discovery Bay in 2014. Early 2016, they looked to fill a need by opening Callahan’s Coffee and Cones, an ice cream and coffee shop in the heart of Discovery Bay. The vision was to create a spot where the community could come to gather and reconnect while enjoying some old-fashioned treats, made locally in store. Michael joined the Chamber of Commerce through Callahan’s, and has been serving on the Board since January 2020.
Outside of his Chamber of Commerce duties and ice cream shop operations, Michael works as a Sr Engineer in the financial sector. Michael also was recently elected to the Discovery Bay CSD and proudly represents his community.
