My husband Bob and I moved to Discovery Bay in September of 2011 from San Ramon. We spent many weekends in Discovery Bay boating on our Carver Mariner, “Tumbling Dice”.

It had been a lifelong dream to be on the water. Moving to Discovery Bay has far surpassed our expectations. We have amazing neighbors and, both being small town mid-west transplants, love the community.

I have a BA in Psychology from Cal State University-Chico and retired in November of 2013 as Vice President of Operations for The National Food Lab in Livermore. There I directed the support functions including Human Resources, IT, Purchasing, Facility Management and Quality Assurance.

The DBCOC has been a great way to meet and support the business people of our community.

We are also active members of Discovery Bay Yacht Club where I was Membership Director in 2015. I also belong to the Discovery Bay Republican Women’s group, an organization near and dear to my heart. Having the opportunity to meet neighbors, being a chamber member, being involved with the community and go boating is all part of the dream. Life is good.
